Use spells like Protect or a Singer’s Physical Res buffs to bulk up your team, and have spells like Aggravate and Spotlight turn your Vanguard into a true tank. Walk back to the save point, heal up, and head straight up into the altar room to fight Orpheus.Īmphora attacks relatively slowly with heavy melee attacks. Equip it to your Vanguard and give any decent physical attacker (besides Monk) a spear of some sort. This is a great asset in the upcoming boss battle. Head up to progress, or continue east and up to find a chest to find a Gaia Shield. Squeeze through breaks in the walls to find Mini-Ether and Clothespin.įollow the corridors around the west of the floor and in the room to the right, you’ll spot the man whose lunch you promised to deliver. You can use the Roc-like creatures here to farm JP if needed. The worms inside deal some heavy AoE damage. Take everything back to Savalon for a stack of quest rewards, then make your way back to the ruins from earlier.Īvoid walking blindly into the sandstream piles here. Take the wagon back to Halcyonia to return the dress and borrow the book from the boy by the plaza. There’s a Spear in the wide house directly above. Head back toward the town entrance to grab Quest 016 and 019 from the dock to the east. Head through the door up the stairs to claim 3x Antidote. But before that, pick up Quest 018 from the person in the throne room. With the king and Prince Pollux missing, you’re off to the Gaming Hall with Prince Castor to figure out what’s going on with the Water Crystal. Grab Quest 017 from the small house in north Savalon near the dress maker and make your way to the palace. The woman wanting the dress will ask you to deliver the Roc Tail Feathers to a tailor in Savalon. Head back to Halcyonia to claim your rewards.
With the target dead, you should have everything you need to complete the quests you picked up. Prevention is the best medicine, so have a Vanguard attempt to taunt the enemy with Aggravation and make good use of Default to defend against big attacks. With it countering any heals, you’ll want to limit yourself to single bursts of something like Cura. Despite the weakness, daggers don’t deal much damage: Instead, concentrate on blasting it with Thunder magic and any throwing knives you happen to have in your inventory. This big bad counters ailments and even healing, making it a bit of a sticky situation. Grab Quest 013 (Night), Quest 015 from the plaza, and Quest 008 and Quest 012 from the throne room for a few extra rewards.
